The forecast is calling for snow from this coming Saturday through next Tuesday. Until then it looks like we will be getting a lot of rain. You just know its going to be snowing up at the ski resorts though because they are at a higher elevation. This is what the clubhouse looks like today. History tour

It's that time of year again when the weather has turned a bit chilly but there is not enough snow to hit the slopes quite yet. Why not go on a history tour? Many historical venues exist in both the Ogden Valley and the city of Ogden itself and all help to share a bit of history about these wonderful places. Starting in Huntsville there are four different places that can be visited: The Huntsville History Library is open Wednesday's from 10am to 12pm and is manned by a staff of three volunteers who can tell you quite a bit about the towns history. The David O McKay home is closed for the season but can still be viewed around the outside. The Robert F.Aldous cabin is also closed for the season but can also be viewed around the outside. The Huntsville Veterans monument is located inside the town cemetery itself. Today is a very photogenic day at and around Wolf Creek Village 1. Never mind that the temperature has dropped a few degrees into the way more than chilly zone too. And that the mountains are starting to get a fine powdering of snow. This morning's view from the deck of unit 109 Kind of like fall and winter mixed all in together.
