Let's go exploring

Image
This is the first post in a series of different trail heads to explore in the Ogden Valley. We start with one right next to Pineview reservoir.  It will be the first trail you find after crossing over Pineview Dam. The trail starts right at the corner of the parking lot and goes right down to the water. The trail is 3.1 miles one way and can be accesed by those walking, biking, horse riding or snowshoeing. It is a fairly easy trail with lots of natural surface. These pictures are the morning view from the trail head.

Rainy day and beaches

Wolf Creek was graced with a rain day today although it is still nice to get out and take a drive around Pineview Reservoir.   Here are some signs that you will find around the beaches at Pineview Reservoir. One that will need to be added to the top sign is no alcoholic beverages. This ordinance was passed within the past month.
