More mornings at Wolf Creek

Image
Just can't help but take photos when everything is this peaceful.

Tennis anyone?

Image
What a great day to play tennis the morning weather is great, not too hot and it's just one of the many things you can do during your stay with us. And this is what makes mornings at Wolf Creek Village so nice, the quiet, the slight breeze, the lack of responsibility for a moment in time.

Wishing you were here

Image
This is one of those calm days made for relaxing. Only the sound of a bird or an occasional car, a slight breeze blows in, not to hot (at least not right now). The view surrounding you is absolutely beautiful and if you feel like cooking outdoors later on there is just the place to do it. Wishing you were here!

Perfect spring weather

The sun is out, not too hot. Birds are chirping, a slight breeze moves the trees and you, wishing you were here right about now.

Shrouded in fog

There are no shortage of beautiful sights here at Wolf Creek and some of them are right outside your door. This is what you would have seen this morning.

Pineview reservoir

It's mid March and some ice can still be seen on Pineview Reservoir. What a beautiful day outside.

This is your view after a day of skiing and fun at Wolf Creek Village.

It's begining to look a lot like spring

It's hard to believe we are in the middle of March already and warm temperatures have taken hold of Wolf Creek Village this week.

Ready to Ski?

Image
We have snow!! A little late in the season for sure but finally we have some serious snow. Nordic Valley Ski resort has it's main run back open after almost loosing it to unseasonably warm temperatures and melting snow. Powder Mountain has eight new inches to ski on while Snowbasin has nine. This is what Wolf Creek Village looks like today.

Finally, something to talk about

Image
What a beautiful sunrise over Wolf Creek this morning. The good news is that the forecast is calling for snow on both Friday and Saturday. This should produce some great snow to ski on.

Great things happening at Wolf Creek Village 1

To start off, the bathrooms now look like this. And for a great night's sleep we have all new queen sized mattresses and box springs. Stay tuned for more great changes at Wolf Creek Village 1.

New look

Wolf Creek Village 1 has a new façade. What do you think? We like it much better ourselves. The two different colors of rock blend well together and just make everything look that much better.

Mornings at Pineview

Image
Mornings are a great time to be out boating, fishing or paddle boarding at Pineview Reservoir. Less than ten minutes away from Wolf Creek Village 1, there are beaches, water access, fishing spots, and boat launches. All giving you access to a fabulous play spot. Boat, and jet ski rentals are available in the Ogden Valley and Fishing licenses can be purchased at Valley Market.

Let's go exploring

Image
This is the first post in a series of different trail heads to explore in the Ogden Valley. We start with one right next to Pineview reservoir.  It will be the first trail you find after crossing over Pineview Dam. The trail starts right at the corner of the parking lot and goes right down to the water. The trail is 3.1 miles one way and can be accesed by those walking, biking, horse riding or snowshoeing. It is a fairly easy trail with lots of natural surface. These pictures are the morning view from the trail head.
