Today's Helpful Hint

October 29th's helpful hint is - Look for spares Have you ever run out of toilet paper after office hours and wished that you knew where to find more? Look no further than under your bathroom sink. Here you will find spare toilet paper, towels, small trash bags, and even soap. Spare kitchen trash bags and paper towels can be found under the kitchen sink and spare pillows, sheets and blankets can be found in either the bedroom or hallway closets. On another note as we head into the month of November, mornings and evenings have become very chilly here at Wolf Creek Village 1. Bringing warm clothing will definitely make your stay more enjoyable.

Are you ready for Halloween??

It's hard to believe but Halloween is only three short days away. In preparation for the festivities and fun we wanted to share a few fun facts about Halloween. Fun fact #1   Trick-or-treating evolved from the ancient Celtic tradition of putting out treats and food to placate spirits who roamed the streets at Samhain, a sacred festival that marked the end of the Celtic calendar year. d Fun fact #2  “Halloween” is short for “Hallows’ Eve” or “Hallows’ Evening,” which was the evening before All Hallows’ (sanctified or holy) Day or Hallowmas on November 1. In an effort to convert pagans, the Christian church decided that Hallowmas or All Saints’ Day (November 1) and All Souls’ Day (November 2) should assimilate sacred pagan holidays that fell on or around October 31. e Fun fact #3  Black and orange are typically associated with Halloween. Orange is a symbol of strength and endurance and, along with brown and gold, stands for the harvest and

Helpful Hint

This is the Wolf Creek Village 1 Helpful Hint for Wednesday 22 October 2014 - Call ahead of time to confirm your reservation even if you are an owner. Taking a couple of minutes to confirm your reservation about a week ahead of time will let us know that you are coming and that (though it is very rare) no glitches have occurred in the reservations process between California's computer's and ours. Calling ahead is also a great time to ask any last minute questions you may have about our amenities, what to bring or not to bring, and different things to do once you are here. Our office hours are from 9 am - 5:30 pm Mountain time and we can be reached by calling 801-745-0222. Until next week stay safe and enjoy the last of the fall season. Wolf Creek Village 1 Staff

Helpful Hint of the week

Helpful hint for October 15th 2014 - Today's helpful hint is a fairly simple one. On Tuesday's between 9 am and 2pm we give you the opportunity to exchange your towels (and sheets if need be) for fresh clean ones. To make use of this simply find the laundry basket in your unit which will usually be in a closet and fill it with your dirty linens then leave it outside your door. We do not come inside your unit to get the basket. For those in the upper loft units, leaving the laundry basket where it is visible from the stairs will ensure that you receive your clean linens in a timely manner.
