    Looking for some good places to take your children trick or treating this year?   Here are a few suggestions:   Beehive homes senior living center at 2547 N. Valley Junction Drive in Eden (just down the road behind Eats of Eden) Valley Market at  2555 Wolf Creek Dr. in Eden. All the departments will be doing trick or treating.  If you are up to doing a little driving there are neighborhoods all over Huntsville, Eden and Liberty. Have a great Halloween!

 There are some spooky events going on throughout the month of October most of them just a short drive down the mountain from us in the city of Ogden.   October 9th and 10th 5pm - Creatures of the night exibit The Ogden Nature Center presents Creatures of the Night - a not-so-scary Halloween event for the whole family. - Learn about native nocturnal creatures like owls, spiders, and bats. - Take a crepuscular creep around the nature preserve where you'll meet and learn from some "wild" characters. - Find your way through the Spider Web Crawl and visit the Hilarious House of Hoots. - Food vendors, carnival games, treats, music, and educational fun. No RSVP necessary. Costumes welcome! Please dress for the weather/held rain or shine. Flashlights recommended. October 9th 5:30pm - Dark Sky Martian Skygazing at Needles Lodge (Snowbasin) Martian ( & other aliens) costume contest Telescopes for stargazing provided by the Ogden Astronomical Society

Fall is a beautiful time to tour the Ogden Valley when all all the vivid colors are at their brightest.     One place to go for some great viewing is UT-39 in Huntsville towards Monte Cristo although there are beautiful views all over the Ogden Valley.
