Come see the first Blue Moon in 3 years from the top of Snowbasin Resort! Friday, July 31st     8 pm-11 pm at Needles Lodge $10 gondola rides for adults and $5 gondola rides for kids 11 and under.  FREE for all 2015 Summer and 2015/16 Premier Season Pass Holders! Food will be available at Needles Lodge.   Telescopes will be provided by the Ogden Astronomical society.

Did you know there is another reservoir in the Ogden Valley? Causey Reservoir is another great place for kayaking, canoeing, fishing, hiking and hunting. There are no official boat launch facilities however and Causey Reservoir is considered a day use area only.   Causey Reservoir is located up state highway 39 in Huntsville. There is still plenty of great fun to be had out on the water at Pineview Reservoir whether it be boating, swimming, or fishing. Dont have a boat? Not a problem. Boat and Jet ski rentals are available at Club Rec in Eden 801-745-3038 (ask for Liam) and at Chris's in Huntsville 801-745-3542. Utah law states anyone 12 years of age and under must be wearing a US Coast Guard approved personal flotation device at all times. Fishing licenses (even out of state) can be purchased at Valley Market in Eden 801-745-4000 Have fun out there and be safe!

The Ogden Valley Balloon festival is an annual event that runs from Friday August 14th to Sunday August 16th this year. There will be balloon rides, Fine Art Exhibits, Craft & Food/Drink Booths, Kids games/rides, pie eating contest, bands and so much more.    Ogden Pioneer day is an annual holiday in Utah and kicks off Ogden Pioneer days every year. There are some great events you will not want to miss including Grand Parade and the last night of one of the top five rodeos in the nation which runs from tonight July 22nd to Friday night July 24th.
